Polyethylene foam

Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) foam is a closed cell foam that is fine-celled, offers aesthetic appeal and offers an outstanding range of performance characteristics. Its smooth surface, excellent consistency, gauge control, superior physical and chemical properties and low water absorption make it a reliable solution for a host of demanding applications. It is available in sheets, rolls and die-cut parts.

Polyethylene (PE) foam is a class of thermoplastics and due to its strong, resilient make-up, is used in packaging, vibration dampening and insulation, as a barrier or buoyancy component, or as a material for cushioning. It is available in sheets, extruded form and die-cut parts.

EVA (EVA) foam is a closed cell foam made from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate and blended copolymers. It has a high level of chemical cross linking with a fine uniform cell structure that is suitable for use in a wide variety of applications. It is available in sheets or die-cut parts. Benefits of EVA foam include:

  • Impact and vibration absorption
  • Weather and chemical resistance
  • Acoustic and thermal insulation properties
  • Buoyancy with low water absorption
  • Suitable for thermo-forming and thermo-molding.
